VALORANT //
UI DESIGN

Since 2021, I’ve worked as a Visual Designer at Riot Games on VALORANT, designing UI systems for new game modes created by the Core Game team. I’ve also created icons for new characters, and helped adapt PC systems to Playstation and Xbox controller schemes for our console launch in 2024.

2XKO // UI DESIGN

I also helped the 2XKO team design and implement social systems leading up to the game’s release in early 2026.

PRIDE 2022

Riot Games marched in the 2022 LA Pride Parade, and I had the privilege of illustrating their official splash art and t-shirt design for the event.

PIXEL ART

REIMAGINING THE LEGEND OF ZELDA

In 2021, I contributed a couple maps to the Hyrule Redrawn project. Dozens of pixel artists had banded together to redraw Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda in a patchwork of different styles, the only requirement being that they had to use only colors from the original NES palette.

A few months later, I decided to continue on in the spirit of the project and start developing a remake of the Zelda, only without any restrictions this time. I wanted to see if I could preserve the diorama-like perspective with tall, 8-directional sprites.

What this project turned into, more than anything, was an opportunity to push my boundaries as an animator while still creating game-ready sprites with 8-directional movement.

TRIP’S VOYAGE GEM RUSH

In 2024, I partnered with eupholace, the creator of the popular Dreams game Trip’s Voyage, to create a 2D arcade spin-off called Gem Rush. I was responsible for not just creating the art style but also drawing all the tile-based backgrounds, sprite work, and animation.
